Locally owned and operated
Blacktop Barbershop is an on-site and mobile barbering innovation created by Mitchell Thomas, born and raised in Southeast Wisconsin. As a kid, he enjoyed youth sports - CYC basketball, Little League baseball, Rec Plex football, and more. After throwing out his shoulder playing college baseball, he returned to Kenosha to pursue his passion in the barbering profession.
Mitchell is committed to church and family. He enjoys getting to know all of his clients and adding them to his Blacktop Barbershop family.
Mitchell can be found in Racine and Kenosha. Visit the brick-and-mortar Racine location in the winter months and check Facebook for updates on summer locations for Blacktop Barbershop's luxury cruiser.

During winter months, you will find us at the Racine brick-and-mortar location at 1116 Grove Avenue.
During warmer months, for 1 to 3 days per week, we will typically have the Blacktop Barbershop luxury cruiser parked at a local business, church, museum, restaurant, brewery, bar, community center, or other convenient local location.
